I’m Lynn Yang, the founder of Dear Eastern Lynn.

My journey with cultural connection began during my teenage years when I briefly lived in the U.S. with a host family. Later, I lived in Los Angeles for over two years while earning my master’s degree at USC — two of the most unforgettable moments of my life.

During those years, I formed deep emotional bonds with classmates, friends, and partners from all backgrounds. Many of my Asian and Chinese friends share a longing for cultural belonging, while others are eager to explore and experience Chinese traditions.

I want to do something meaningful for them — starting with a qipao.

More than a dress, it’s a way to wear confidence, culture, and connection.
